Sterling Fitness Launches Online Personal Training!

Here at Sterling Fitness we know that Personal Training isn't accessible for everyone for a number of different reasons. Be it financial reasons, practicality or other commitments taking up time and energy, there are so many reasons that many people who are interested in PT aren't able to go through with finding and hiring a trainer. Whilst in my (bias) opinion, having a Personal Trainer is extremely beneficial for the majority of people, I wanted to find a way to provide our knowledge and expertise to more people than just our 1 to 1 clients. We have searched long and hard to find the right software, but I am pleased to finally announce that we now offer complete Online Personal Training packages.

The beauty of this is that anyone can use this, and from anywhere in the world. Due to the obvious of not physically having face to face attention from a Personal Trainer, this is a much more affordable option for many people than Personal Training, which I hope will mean that more people will be able to benefit from our coaching. It's suitable for complete beginners as everything has a video tutorial and we are always on hand to help you over the phone or via video link. We have chosen to go with an app called True Coach, which is very user friendly and the perfect tool for programming and keeping in contact with each other. It is free to download and you simply log in with the login details that I give you, and your comprehensive workout program, completely designed by your trainer from scratch based on your individual goals is there for you to start.

The app essentially provides a Personal Trainer in your pocket and has the following excellent features:

  • Real time messaging feature to contact us with any questions or comments.

  • Space to input your results for every exercise and overall workout - reps, weight, how it felt, other comments. Your trainer can also see this and give you feedback.

  • Constant automatic feedback to your trainer when your workouts are completed or missed. We get notifications for everything so we never miss an update!

  • Video exercise library so you can instantly see a demo of any exercises you are unsure of.

  • Constant progress tracking for all data - body measurements, performance etc so you can see numerically and graphically how you are progressing.

  • Nutrition tracking and ability for your trainer to assign meal plans or calorie/macro targets.

  • Space to upload progress photos.

Every person is different and has different goals so every bespoke program your trainer designs is based entirely on you. No two programs are the same and you will never be given a generic template program churned out to everyone, meaning this really is a completely bespoke service. To enable us to do this, we have a form on our website for you to fill out so your trainer can gain the basic information from you. From there, we will contact you to get all the information that we need to design your program and get started with your Online Personal Training. Once we have all of this, I can create your bespoke package and send you the login details to access it all! The Online Personal Training continues indefinitely until you want to stop and we will constantly be updating your program accordingly to ensure progression.

Payment for the Online Personal Training will be on a monthly basis and therefore the minimum amount of time you can commit to is one month. The price will vary depending on what you want to get from it, however one of our main considerations is making this affordable for everyone, so even if you think that Personal Training is too expensive for you, please get in touch. If you really want to make the commitment to long term training for great results, there will be discount options for months of training in a bulk purchase.
