BOOTCAMP - What to Expect

As you may have seen across our social media pages and on posters in the local area, Sterling Fitness is running a summer Bootcamp, starting next week!


We've had a few questions regarding who might be suitable for the Bootcamp and what to expect, so you will find out everything you need to know in this blog post.


The aim of running this Bootcamp was to fill a gap in the local market with an intense, tough workout to challenge even the fittest among us. That being said, no ability is excluded and everyone will be catered for. However fit you are, whether you have never exercised before or you're a fitness enthusiast, everyone will be able to join the Bootcamp, just be prepared to be pushed to YOUR limits! The workouts will be great fun, and will be different every session, however the main goal is your own personal progression in your fitness. If you are really serious about committing to all the sessions, it's a great idea to take some before and after photos and/or body measurements (if weight loss is your goal) so you can see your transformation at the end of the summer series of the Bootcamp.


The Bootcamp sessions will be held at Canterbury Rugby Club and therefore will be outside on grass, so don't wear anything you don't want getting a tad dirty just in case! Although we are hoping for lovely weather every evening, the British summer may catch us out - in case of bad weather, double check on Facebook or Instagram for an update, however the Bootcamp will most likely still be going ahead. There is free parking at the club and there will be access to the facilities in the clubhouse for refilling water bottles and using the toilets. The cost of the sessions are £5 per session, so please remember to bring this with you. The only other things you will need are a water bottle, some good trainers and some motivation to work hard!


Our first class is on the 4th of June at 6pm, and we will be running every Tuesday and Thursday thereafter throughout the summer. We're really looking forward to the Bootcamp starting, so bring a friend and come and have some fun whilst getting fit!
